What's New?

Pastor Jim took the opportunity to sit down and interview two of the missionaries that our church supports. You can listen to the interview with Dave and Lois Belch (Evangelical Alliance Mission), Nick Brothers (Cross Bar X Youth Ranch) and Marty and Jeaneatte Windle (BCM International).

You can now watch the video of Taylor Jensen's Mission Trip to the Canary Islands. Taylor went with Push the Rock to assist our missionaries Dave and Lois Belch in Tenerife. Photos were taken by individuals on the trip. The video was composed by Jason Duchow of Jason Duchow Photography.

Recommended Web Resources

1.) Before you spend money or time on a book that may be a dud, check out what Tim Challies at the Discerning Reader has to say. He offers short, concise, and theologically sound (most important) reviews of books.

2.) Check out the only blog checked by Pastor Jim on a regular basis, (other blogs are checked quite irregularly) at Team Pyro's site. Rated as the 8th most influential Christian website, it is worth your time!

WHAT ABOUT "THE SHACK?"

3.) Many have asked about the insanely popular book, "THE SHACK" by William P. Young. Few Ca niceI don'thristians are aware of the horrible heresy promoted by Young. To warn you and protect you from this wolf in sheep's clothing, we offer the following resources:

* A review by Tim Challies (offered here with Tim's permission).

* 13 Heresies of the Shack, a sermon by Michael Youssef.

* A Critical Review of the Shack by Christian apologist Norm Geisler.

* A Stack of what the Shack lacks will give you a host of resources - more than you need.

Column Flashback

The Good Hand Of God, Part 1

Read the story of God's gracious leading and provision for our new facility. This column originally appeared in the October 2006 issue of the Kootenai Communicator.

We offer this reminder of God's provision and glory in preparation for the Consecration Sunday coming in March.

Weekly Update

Do you receive the "Weekly Update?" O.K., maybe it's not exactly "weekly", but it is somewhat more regular than Haley's Comet. We occasionally send out news, information, and updates about events connected with our church and church ministry. Email Jim Osman to be added to that list. Make sure you include the words "Weekly Update" in the subject line.
